COVID-19 : ICMR deputes three scientists to strengthen Central team of Jipmer doctors

Puducherry, Aug 25 (UNI) Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has deputed three scientists to strengthen the Central team of Jipmer doctors in assisting the UT administration in combating the Coronavirus pandemic.
Prof Balram Bhargava, Director General ICMR, in a letter to Lt.Governor Kiran Bedi said that this followed her telephonic conversation with him and requested him the same.
Dr. Manoj V Murthekar, Scientist ‘G” and Director of National Institute of Epidemiology, Chennai, Dr.P Ganesh Kumar ,Scientist ‘D’ and Dr.N Nesan,Scientist ‘C’ will be reaching Puducherry on Wednesday, Prof Bhargava said.
