N R Congress General Secretary Bhalan dies of COVID-19

Puducherry, Jul 28 (UNI) N R Congress General Secretary V Bhalan, who tested positive for Coronavirus and was undergoing treatment at Manakula Vinayagar Medical College (MVMC) here died in the early hours of Tuesday.
He is 68 and was survived by his wife, a son and a daughter.
Bhalan was tested positive for the virus on July 23 and was admitted to MVMC. He breathed his last at 0325 hrs.

Hyderabad, April 24 (UNI) The Election Commission of India (ECI) has issued a communication stipulating that every individual employed in any business, trade, industrial undertaking, or establishment, eligible to vote in elections to the House of the People or the Legislative Assembly of a State, shall be granted a paid holiday under Section 135 B of the Representation of People Act.
