New COVID cases go up to 87 in UT

Puducherry, Oct 8 (UNI) The fresh Coronavirus cases has gone up in the Union Territory, as compared to 64 cases recorded on Thursday, with 87 Covid-19 cases and one death have been reported in the last 24 hours, ending at 10 AM on Friday.
With this, the infection tally rose to 1,26,893 and death toll to 1,845.
The lone death was reported in Puducherry region.
