UT records 490 new COVID-19 positive cases, 2 deaths in past 24 hours

Puducherry, Oct 7 (UNI) As many as 490 more persons were tested positive for the Coronavirus and two patients died in the Union Territory since the last 24 hours.
There were 4,680 active cases, ending at 10 AM, on Wednesday.
According to the COVID-19 status released by the Health department here, 355 new cases were reported in Puducherry region, 65 in Karaikal region, 13 in Yanam region and 57 in Mahe region.
