RTPCR testing charge reduced from Rs 1,700 to Rs 500 in private hospitals in Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram, Apr 30 (UNI) Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Friday informed that RTPCR testing charge in private centres has been reduced from Rs 1700 to Rs 500 in the State.
In a message, the CM said "It is all inclusive of test kits, PPE, swab charges etc. Reduced rate is applicable to all ICMR and State Government approved private labs and hospitals. Government hospitals are conducting these tests for free."
Stating that dedicated Oxygen War Rooms will function at State and District levels with representatives of Police, Health, Transportation, Disaster Management and PESO, he said "O2 stock is being monitored in the Districts by Collectors. O2 module will be included in Covid Jagratha portal."
