Pattambi market area under lockdown after 81 tests positive

Palakkad, July 19 (UNI) The Pattambi market and neighbouring area has been put on high alert after 81 persons including 67 connected to the market has been tested positive for COVID-19 on Sunday.
The market has been declared a containment zone after few traders were found infected with the virus recently followed by the health authorities conducting a mega testing camp there to find out persons infected with the disease in and around the market.
The health department is trying to find out the contacts of the newly found patients and put them under observation.
