Kerala reports 7 more Omicron cases, total cases rise to 64

Thiruvananthapuram, Dec 28 (UNI) Seven more people tested positive to the Omicron variant of COVID-19 on Tuesday taking the total cases to 64 in Kerala so far, Health Minister Veena George said.
Four people tested positive in Pathanamthitta district, two in Alappuzha district and one in Thiruvananthapuram district, the Minister said in a press release this evening.
In view of Omicron cases rising rapidly in Kerala, the Minister urged people to take utmost care and follow COVID protocol strictly to stop further spread of the pandemic.
