Thiruvananthapuram, Jan 5 (UNI) Kerala recorded 4,801 fresh Covid-19 positive cases and 29 fatalities on Wednesday showing no respite from rising number of Covid cases in the State.
About 1,813 people have recovered from the disease today (Wednesday), a press release from the health department said on Wednesday evening.
"Meanwhile, 29 recent deaths were confirmed due to Covid-19 today. About 229 deaths were also added to the list based on appeals seeking its inclusion in the list taking the death toll in the State to 48,895," the release added.
