Kerala reports 5,754 fresh COVID cases, 49 deaths

Thiruvananthapuram, Nov 19 (UNI) Kerala reported 5,754 fresh COVID positive cases and 49 deaths on Friday showing no respite from rising number of COVID cases in the State.
About 6,489 people have recovered from the disease on Friday, a press release from the health department said this evening.
"Meanwhile, 49 recent deaths were confirmed due to COVID on Friday. About 155 deaths were also added to the list based on appeals seeking its inclusion in the list taking the death toll in the state to 37,051," the release added.
