Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 16 (UNI) Kerala reported 14 deaths due to COVID-19 on Wednesday whereas 3,830 people tested positive to the virus, 2,263 patients have recovered from the disease and 32,709 patients are under treatment, Health Minister KK Shailaja said.
Currently 2,11,037 persons are under observation across the state -- 1,87,958 are under home or institutional quarantine and 23,079 in hospitals. So far 84,608 people have recovered from Covid in the State. 2,987 people were admitted to the hospitals today," the Minister said in a press release here this evening.
She also confirmed 14 recent deaths due to COVID. The deceased are T V Rajesh (47) from Kannur district, Aboobacker (70) and Nafisa (76) from Malappuram district, Nizamuddin (61) from Thiruvananthapuram district, Thomas (59) from Kollam district, Kunjari (56), Raveendran (69) and Sajith (45) from Kozhikode district and Ramla (56), Latha (52), Saraswathiamma (84), Sulaiman (49), C Subramanian (84) and Aboobacker (80) from Palakkad district, taking the death toll to 480 in the State.
