Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 2 (UNI) Kerala reported seven more deaths due to COVID-19 on Wednesday, whereas 1,547 people tested positive to the virus Health Minister KK Shailaja said here.
She further said that 2,129 patients have recovered from the disease and 21,923 patients were under treatment.
"Currently 1,93,736 people are under observation in the state -- 1,75,382 are at their homes or in institutional quarantine centres and 18,354 in hospitals. So far, 55,782 persons have been cured of COVID. Today, 1,439 people were admitted to the hospital with infection," the Minister said in a statement.
