Thiruvananthapuram, Aug 24 (UNI) Kerala reported 11 deaths due to COVID-19 on Monday whereas 1,242 people tested positive to the virus, Health Minister KK Shailaja said in a statement.
She further said that 1,238 patients have recovered from the disease and total 20,323 patients were under treatment.
"Currently 1,83,448 people are under observation in the state -- 1,66,411 are at their homes or institutional quarantine centres and 17,037 in hospitals. 1,877 people were admitted to the hospital. So far, 38,887 people have cured of COVID," the Minister stated.
