COVID-19: Karnataka reports 2960 cases, 35 deaths

Bengaluru, Nov 6 (UNI) With the detection of 2960 fresh COVID-19 cases, the total tally in the state surged to 8,41,889 on Friday.
According to official sources, as many as 35 more persons succumbed to the COVID-19 disease accounting for a total number of deaths to 11,347 in the state.
The sources said that in the last 24-hours as many as 2701 COVID-19 patients, got discharged from various hospitals after being completely cured from the deadly disease.

Mangaluru, Jan 21(UNI) Joint Commissioner Customs Joannes George said that, based on intelligence Customs Sleuths of MIA, intercepted one Ubaid Baliyath Azeez hailing from Madikeri and arrived from Dubai by Air India flight on Thursday
Officials said that on personal search the passenger was found to have concealed gold in paste form in Rectum. Gold 0.8 KG of 24k purity valued Rs 44.2 Lakh was recovered and seized.
