Center to extend all cooperation to solve oxygen shortage

Hubballi, 24 Apr (UNI) Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs and Coal, Mr Prahlad Joshi said here today that the Center will provide all the necessary assistance to the States to overcome the shortage of oxygen supply by increasing the quantity and by rushing the oxygen via special Trains and by Air.
Speaking on the occasion of launching 10 New Ambulances fitted with Oxygen supply by the District administration for transportation of Covid-19 patients, Mr Joshi said that discussions are underway with private Hospitals including the Big Hospital Groups like SDM Hospital group managed by Mr. Virendra Heggade, head of the Dharmasthala Manjunatha temple and Suchi Rayu Hospital in Hubballi to reduce the Treatment charges for the Covid-19 patients.
Stating that according to experts the Covid Variant Virus in the Second wave is very Serious and both the Center and the State governments have been doing everything possible to control the pandemic. However, He urged the people not to get panic, but strictly follow all the Covid-19 guidelines issued by the Authorities.
