Coronavirus positive cases crosses 5 lakh mark in AP

Vijayawada, Sep 7 (UNI) The Coronavirus positive cases have crossed five lakh mark in Andhra Pradesh as 8,368 fresh cases were reported while the pandemic had claimed 4,487 lives so far.
A health bulletin said here on Monday that 58,187 swab samples of persons were tested in a period of 24 hours and of which 8,368 people were tested positive for the virus taking the tally to 5,06,493 while 70 more patients have died.
Out of the 4,487 total deaths, large number of deaths has taken place in Chittoor district 481, East Godavari district 430, Anantapur district 371, Guntur district 428, Krishna district 313, Kurnool district 399, Nellore district 347, Prakasam district 330, Visakhapatnam district 324 and West Godavari district 360.
