COVID : Uncertainity prevails in Tirumala temple over conduct of future festivities

Tirupati, Sep 14 (UNI) Uncertainity prevails on the conduct of festivities at Sri Venkateswara temple in Tirumala in future with surge of Coronavirus cases in Chittoor district which is part of pilgrim city Tirupati.
As many as 957 Covid positive cases and five deaths were reported in the last 24 hours.
As the Covid-19 spike continued unabated, it cause concern for Archakas, Engineers and vehicle drivers who regularly visiting hill shrine Tirumala. The TTD suspended the offline issue of 3000 free darshan tokens here ast week.
