AOI gives new lease of life to 47-yr-old recurrent laryngeal cancer patient

Vijayawada, Oct 19 (UNI) A 47-year-old man diagnosed with recurrent laryngeal cancer (cancer of the voice box) received successful treatment at American Oncology Institute (AOI) located at Mangalagiri, near here.

The surgery was expertly performed by Dr Eshant Inapuri and his team at AOI, representing a significant milestone in Cancer Care. This patient presented with several health complications, including a high cardiac risk and significant fibrosis in the neck, affecting muscles, nerves, blood vessels, and potentially the voice box, a consequence of prior radiation therapy.
