Kadapa Dec 2 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy visited some of the flood affected villages in Rajampet Mandal of YSR Kadapa district on Thursday.
He along with District Collector V Vijaya Rama Raju, Deputy Chief Minister and district-incharge minister visited Pulapatturu village.
He saw the devastation caused by the floods including the collapsed houses.
Mr Reddy interacted with the flood victims and saw photos of the flood catastrophe in a photo exhibition arranged at the village.
Collector Vijaya Rama Raju explained to the Chief Minister the devastation due to floods.
The Chief Minister went to the village secretariat and saw the relief centre.
Later he addressed the flood victims and assured them to extend all required help.
The Chief Minister handed over documents of house sites to the flood victims and distributed gas stoves and household articles to the victims.
Deputy Chief Minister S B Amzath Basha, district in-charge Minister Admulapu Suresh, Chief whip G Srikanth Reddy, MP PV Mithun Reddy, host of MLAs and other leaders accompanied the Chief Minister.
