AP CM inaugurates second boondi mixture complex in Tirumala

Tirumala, Oct 12 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy on Tuesday inaugurated the second Boondi mixture complex here, constructed with the donation of Indian Cements Managing Director N Srinivasan.
The Boondi is required for preparation of Srivari Laddu prasadam. It is being prepared in the Boondhi Potu (kitchen) located on the Southern side of Srivari Temple.
Till 2008, TTD was producing only 45,000 laddus a day and then late Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy has opened the existing Boondi Potu which is capable of producing Boondi for preparation of about 3.75 Lakh Laddus per day.
