Lakshadweep, Jan 2 (UNI) Ms Usha Naidu, wife of Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu, has inaugurated a Reverse Osmosis plant at Bangaram Islands in Lakshadweep on Sunday.
National Institute of Ocean Technology (NIOT) has successfully commissioned the 50,000 litres per day capacity sea water Reverse Osmosis plant at Bangaram, in the Lakshadweep group of Islands, with the support of Lakshadweep Public Works Department (LPWD).
This plant is second of its kind commissioned by NIOT in these Islands.
