CM inaugurates Muvattupuzha Valley Irrigation project

Idukki, Jul 10 (UNI) Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan inaugurated the Muvattupuzha Valley Irrigation project through a video conference on Friday.
The project envisaged for Idukki, Ernakulam and parts of Kottayam districts will use the tail water from Moolamattom power house of Idukki reservoir.
The project was launched in 1983 and later some areas of Kottayam district were also included by constructing a 323 km water canal.

Bengaluru, Sep 20 (UNI) KPCC chief D K Shivakumar on Sunday said the Congress will not cooperate with the government on curtailing the Assembly session, commencing here from Monday
Speaking to newspersons here at the KPCC office, he said Chief Minister B S Yeddiyurappa has called on him and Leader of the Opposition Siddaramaiah, to cooperate to cut short the session, following the increase in COVID-19 cases in the state.
