Generation of quality electricity essential for Nations Development: Kakinada MP

Kakinada, July 30 (UNI) Kakinada MP Vanga Geeta Viswanath has said that generation and supply of quality electricity was essential for the country’s economic and industrial accelerated development and both central and state government’s were according top priority for improving power generation utilising all the available resources including water, wind energy, thermal and solar energy .
Participating as the chief guest at the Vidyuth Mahotsav as a part of the Ujjwal Bharat -Ujjwal Bhavishya Celebrations at the smart city conference hall here on Saturday , she said due to modern life style the electricity needs had increased multifold and even the tribal areas also now getting the supply of quality electricity .
She has complimented the electricity authorities for striving hard in ensuring power supply to the remote areas and also agency areas during the recent floods. City MLA Dwarampudi Chandrasekhara reddy has stressed the need for awareness on healthy environment and strive for depending upon solar energy to cater to their domestic needs by installing solar panels in common place at the time of construction of multi storied apartments.
