Many start-up companies in Indian biotech sector found large number of investors : Shaw

Hyderabad, Nov 7 (UNI) The present global pandemic brought huge healthcare challenges but it has also opened up a huge number of opportunities for every part of the world particularly Indian Biotech sector which saw many start-up companies rising with huge investment flow, Biocon Limited Founder Chairperson Kiran Mazumdar Shaw observed here on Saturday.
Addressing the graduates virtually during GITAM Deemed to be University 11th Convocation here, She saidmany start-up companies in the Indian biotech sector could not even attract venture capital or any funding in the past and now suddenly found a large number of investors.
Ms Shaw expressed that many more start-ups will come in the coming days.
