FSA to be provided to students from Sep 15

Puducherry, Sep 14 (UNI) Government will start providing Food Security Allowance (FSA) to the students from 1st standard to 8th standard here from Tuesday.
According to a release from the Education department on Monday, since,schools were closed due to Coronavirus, mid-day meals could not be provided to the students.
National Security Act (NSA) provides for Food Security Allowance comprising food grains and cooking cost to eligible students from class one to eight in lieu of hot cooked meals under mid-day meal scheme.
