Kerala provided online education to nearly 91 per cent students during pandemic: CM

Thiruvananthapuram, Nov 18 (UNI) Kerala has provided online education to nearly 91 per cent of school students in rural areas during the pandemic period, based on the Annual Status of Education Report (ASER) 2021, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said on Thursday.
"As per the Annual Status of Education Report (ASER) 2021, Kerala has provided online education to 91 per cent of school students in rural areas during the pandemic period. The entire people of Kerala have stood behind the government to make this proud achievement possible," the Chief Minister tweeted.
Education Minister V Sivankutty tweeted that "Kerala LDF governments stance on education during COVID-19 sets an example for India and the world. Kerala's performance in providing online education to rural children judged the best by the recent ASER, thanks to the government's careful planning + execution of projects."
