Organ Donation: 'Selfless act of kindness can save so many lives'

Hyderabad, Aug 13 (UNI) Gleneagles Global Hospitals CEO Dr Riyaz Khan on Saturday said World Organ donation day is a day to remember those wonderful families who lost their loved ones but even in that moment of sadness, they gave life to others.
It is a day to remember for all those sick patients who survived and got a new lease of life out of someone’s kindness, Dr Riyaz said at a walkathon event organised on the occasion of World Organ Donation day, to create maximum awareness among people of all age groups to sign up for organ donation & give someone a second chance at life here.
It is a day for all of us to understand the importance of organ donation and this “selfless act of kindness can save so many lives and make this world a better place”, he said.
