Bengaluru , Sep, 22 (UNI) Urja machine, a marvel carved out Bengaluru-Shivajinagar Metro tunnel within 13 months, sources said on Wednesday .
The 855-meter Metro Tunnel is underway in Shivajinagar, Bangalore, and the URJA made it possible in August 2020. Now, 13 months later, the power machine is out. State Chief Minister Basavaraja Bommai was present when the machine came out, and watched the energy breakthrough.
He appreciated the work done by the Metro which he described as an achievement .The phase 2 will be completed at the earliest.
The tunnel has been drilled from the cantonment to Shivajinagar and the TBM has been dug out of the 855 meter tunnel. Metro Phase 2 is a 21km long Metro Workshop from Gottiyare to Nagavar.
