Govt purchased Rs 109 cr worth cloth from APCO Fabrics to prepare face masks : CM

Vijayawada, Aug 7 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh government has purchased Rs 109 crore worth cloth from the APCO Fabrics and gave the same to the women of Self Help Groups (SHGs) for preparing face masks, Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy said.
The Chief Minister said this while taking to twitter to express his greetings on the ‘National Weavers' Day’.
He said that Andhra Pradesh is one of the most important states in the Handloom industry, with the second-largest concentration of weavers in India.
