Police Inspector suspended in murder case, CB-CID probe ordered

Thoothukudi, Sep 21 (UNI) Inspector of Thattarmadam Police Station, Harikrishnan who has been booked as the prime accused in the murder of a 30-year-old youth Selvan, was placed under suspension on Monday.
Police sources said the Deputy Inspector General of Police (Tirunelveli region) Praveen Kumar Abinapu ordered the suspension of Harikrishnan, who was transferred to the Armed Reserve wing police.
Tamil Nadu Director General of Police (DGP) J.K.Tripathy ordered a Crime Branch CID (CB-CID) probe into the murder case.
