Police arrests 4 goat thieves, recovers 60 stolen goats in TN

Tiruchirapalli, Nov 29 (UNI) Close on the heels of the brutal murder of a Special Sub Inspector of Police (SSI) by goat thieves, the Tiruchirapalli range of the State police arrested four persons and recovered 60 goats valued at Rs three lakhs in the region.

A press release from the Office of the Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG), Tiruchirapalli range, here on Monday, said a four-member special police team, headed by a Sub Inspector of Police was formed on the instructions from the Inspector General of Police, Central Zone, V.Balakrishnan to arrest those involved in goat thefts.
