One arrested, 12.7 kgs of Ganja chocolates seized in Telangana

Hyderabad, Sep 23 (UNI) Telangana police have arrested a drug peddler and seized 64 packets of ganja chocolates weighing 12.7 kilograms, along with 680 grams of dry ganja, all valued at Rs 1,05,900.
The arrest followed a joint operation by the Cyberabad Special Operations Team (SOT), Madhapur unit, and the Petbasheerabad Police.
The accused, Tamk Issar Singh (55), a resident of Yellammaband, Jagadgirigutta, Medchal-Malkajgiri district, was apprehended at the Suchitra X Road Auto Stand while transporting the contraband from Punjab to Hyderabad, according to a police statement on Monday.
