Telangana police bust cyber crime racket, arrests 36 people from Gujarat

Hyderabad, Aug 24 (UNI) The Hyderabad police arrested 36 people from Gujarat, including a chartered accountant and seven kingpins, for their alleged involvement in several cyber frauds in the city.
For the first time, seven teams of cybercrimes in Hyderabad participated in a special drive in Gujarat state. They caught 36 accused persons of India and detected 20 cases of cyber fraud in the city, including 11 investment frauds, 4 trading frauds and FEDEX courier frauds, and one KYC fraud, Hyderabad Commissioner of Police Kothakota Sreenivasa Reddy said in a press conference here on Saturday.
The accused are wanted in 983 cases across India, including 150 cases in Telangana.
