YouTuber taken into custody in Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 28 (UNI) YouTuber Vijay P Nair who was attacked by Malayalam dubbing artiste Bhagyalakshmi for allegedly posting derogatory remarks against women has been taken into custody from his house at Kalliyoor in Vellayani on Monday.
Following a complaint against the YouTuber, the police filed a case against him. Meanwhile, the police also filed a case against Diya Sana, Sreelakshmi Arackal and Bhagyalakshmi who barged into the office of Vijay P Nair, manhandled him, poured motor oil on his face and seized his cell phone and lap top on Saturday evening.
They also forced him to make an apology for hurting their feelings. Some of them hurled abusive words against him. The protestors, who also shared the incident live on Facebook, alleged that they staged the violent protest following inaction of the police to their complaints against him.
