Thiruvananthapuram, Jul 24 (UNI) National Investigation Agency (NIA) investigating the diplomatic baggage gold smuggling case has issued another notice to former principal secretary to Kerala Chief Minister and IT secretary, M Sivasankar summoning him to its Kochi office on Monday next.
The IAS official, who was quizzed for five hours on Thursday, has denied the statement of Sarith, a key accused in the case, that Sivasankar was aware about the smuggling.
The top official, who was also quizzed by the NIA officials for nine hours last week, told that Swapna's husband was his relative and he only had friendship with Swapna Suresh, a key accused in the case.
