Excise team seizes 50 kg marijuana, hashish oil from car in Kerala

Idukki, Sep 3 (UNI) One person was taken into custody and 50 kg of marijuana and 12 bottles of hashish oil worth Rs 25 lakh were seized by the excise officers during a vehicle check in Thodupuzha here on Thursday.
Excise officers intercepted the car and stopped near Vengallur-Kolans bypass and took into custody Harris Nasser (25). The contraband was brought from outside the state for a Thodupuzha native.
In another incident, 35 kg of marijuana was seized from a lorry in Aluva during a vehicle inspection.
