Bengaluru, June 26 (UNI) A Sixty-year-old woman who had tested positive for Covid-19 and was undergoing treatment at KC General Hospital here was found dead in the bathroom in the early hours of Friday.
The patient told the guard that she had to use the bathroom but when she did not return after some time, the staff suspected something was amiss and rushed to the bathroom, only to find her lifeless.
N Shashi Kumar, Deputy Commissioner of Police (North) said that according to preliminary reports, the woman was admitted to the hospital on June 18, her condition was not so critical. However, she was disturbed as her son, daughter-in-law and grandson were also Coronavirus infected and were undergoing treatment in the same hospital.
