SEB sleuths raids on ID Liquor dens, 66,100 liters jaggery wash destroyed; 33 held

Kakinada, Nov 21 (UNI) The sleuths of Special Enforcement Bureau, under the instructions of SP Ravindranath Babu, have conducted intensive raids on ID Liquor dens all over the district on Sunday and destroyed 66,100 liters of fermented jaggery wash ready for distillation and also the equipment used for distillation, SEB sources said.
They also seized 400 liters of arrack and 211.88 liters of non duty paid liquor and five vehicles used for clandestine transportation .
The SEB sources further said that 61 cases were booked and 33 persons were arrested and another 24 persons were bound over.
