AP: Police arrest interstate burglars, recover Rs 14 lakh booty

Nandyala, June 3 (UNI) The police arrested three notorious interstate burglars at Rudraksha Gutta area on the outskirts of Gooty town of the district and recovered Rs 14 lakh booty, a car and 45 liters of country-made liquor.
Superintendent of police Suneel Sheoran told the media here on Wednesday that a three member interstate burglar gang of Rajasthan was arrested. The robber gang on April 4, 2026 committed burglary in the ITC cigarette godown under the Dhone police station limits of Nandyal district.
The arrested robbers confessed to making away with a huge quantity of cigarettes from the ITC godown and told the police they had sold the cigarettes in Hyderabad. They also committed some offences in Kadapa also.

AP CM: Polavaram project will be completed by March 2027

Vijayawada, July 14 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has reaffirmed that the Polavaram Project will be completed and dedicated to the nation by March 2027.
