AP: 246 kg of cannabis seized, 5 peddlers arrested

Anakapalli, Aug 2 (UNI) The police seized 246 kg of ganja and arrested five peddlers in two raids at Chidikada and Ravikamatham villages of Andhra Pradesh.
Superintendent of Police M Deepika told the media here on Friday that the police, on a tip off, conducted a raid and seized 150 kg of ganja at Chidikada village, arrested four persons and seized a four wheeler and an auto rickshaw.
The arrested four persons belonging to ASR district, the SP said, adding that some other peddlers managed to escape.
