Police department to use technology, force to combat Ganja menace in AP

Visakhapatnam, Nov 2 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Director General of Police Gautham Sawang said that the police department will use technology and force in combating Ganja menace in the state.
We will use drones, tools embedded with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and there will be a lot of data collation, data sharing and data analytics, Mr Sawang said, while holding a high-level ‘inter-state coordination meeting on strategies to combat narcotics trafficking’ here late on Monday night.
The meeting, Chaired by the DGP, was attended by senior officials from the other states and stakeholders such as police, DRI, NCB, SEB and others.
