Time has come to ban PFI: CM Bommai

Bengaluru, July 27 (UNI) In the backdrop of Hindu activists expressing their anger over the failure of state BJP government to protect Hindus including its youth leader Praveen Nettaru, Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Wednesday pitched for banning of extremists outfit People's Front of India (PFI).
"Certainly it (PFI) should be banned," he said in an interview with one of the leading English national news channels.
Giving reasons for banning PFI, Bommai said PFI has been indulging in anti-national activities to create disharmony and communal violence, besides murdering political activists and expanding to several states including Kerala and Uttar Pradesh.
