Monkeypox meeting on Aug 2: Karnataka CM Bommai

Bengaluru, Aug 1 (UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai is all set to chair two meetings on Tuesday to discuss steps to be taken to tackle Monkeypox in the state.
"We have taken Monkeypox seriously. Tomorrow I have called an important meeting with the Health Minister and Health Department officials to discuss how to check the travellers, setting up labs and other measures that need to be taken," he told reporters here.
This decision comes in the wake of a 22-year-old man allegedly dying due to Monkeypox in Kerala on Saturday. He had returned from UAE.
