CM Bommai cancels his first year celebrations, Janotsava at Doddaballapur

Bengaluru, July 28 (UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Thursday announced cancellation of his first year celebrations at Vidhana Soudha and Janotsava at Doddaballapur, in the wake of the murder of a BJP Yuva Morcha member in Dakshina Kannada.
On Wednesday night at midnight, he suddenly called a press conference at his home and announced the cancellation of two events: a formal gathering at Vidhana Soudha and ‘Janotsava,’ a massive rally in Doddaballapur that
BJP National President JP Nadda was scheduled to attend the Janotsava at Doddaballapur.
