Bomb threat rocks Bengaluru engineering colleges

Bengaluru, Oct 4 (UNI) A chilling bomb threat has sent shockwaves through three of Bengaluru's premier engineering colleges - BMS College of Engineering (BMSCE), MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology (MSRIT), and Bangalore Institute of Technology (BIT).
According to police, the threatening email message was received earlier Friday, prompting immediate action from law enforcement agencies. The Bomb Disposal Squad and specialised teams have been deployed to verify the threat.
A case has been registered at Hanumanth Nagar police station to trace the source of the threat. College administrations have taken precautionary measures, ensuring student safety. Police are scanning CCTV footage and conducting thorough sweeps of campus premises.
