Biennial poll for Karnataka MLC seats on June 3

Bengaluru, May 10 (UNI) The biennial election for six seats of Karnataka Legislative Council will be conducted on June 3, Election Commission of India said on Tuesday.
The poll will be held from 9 am to 4 pm, and counting and results will be declared the same day, it said. The counting of the votes will be held after 5 pm, it added.
The date of issuing notification is May 17 and last date of the nomination is May 24. The scrutiny of nominations is on May 25 and last date for withdrawal of candidatures on May 27, ECI said.
