Govt strongly committed to protect Wakf properties spread across Telangana : Minister

Hyderabad, Sep 9 (UNI) Telangana Minister for Minority Welfare Koppula Eshwar informed the Asssembly on Wednesday that the government was strongly committed to protect the valuable Wakf properties spread across the state.
The government will soon call for a meeting with all the concerned regarding the delay in issuing the gazette notification for providing the details of the second survey of the Wakf lands, Mr Eshwar said while replying to question raised by members during the question hour.
The Minister assured that the issue of conferring Judicial status to Wakf Board would also be considered by the Chief Minister after the meeting.
