Hyderabad, Sep 14 (UNI) As many as 4,952 Traffic Police Personnel are getting pollution hazard allowance in Telangana, Home Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali informed the Assembly on Monday.
Replying to a question raised by members in the house during the question hour, the Minister said that the state government has sanctioned 30 per cent risk allowance to the Traffic Police in the state.
Of the total 4,952 Traffic Police personnel, Inspectors/ Reserve Inspectors are (84), Sub-Inspectors(152), Assistant Sub-Inspectors (263), Head Constables (338), Police Constables (1781) and Home Guards (2334), the Minister added.
