Telangana CM terms PMBFY as 'unscientific'

Hyderabad,Oct 8 (UNI) Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Friday termed the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY) in the Assembly as 'unscientific'.
Intervening during question hour, he said that benefits of PMFBY were not reaching the grassroot farmers adding that it was the responsibility of the government to assist farmers.
Mr Rao said he would send suggestions to the Centre on ensuring benefits of insurance to the farmers.
