Telangana govt to set up task force to monitor Covid treatment in pvt hospitals

Hyderabad, Sep 9 (UNI) In the backdrop of complaints against private hospitals for collecting huge medical expenses bills from covid victims, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao in the House on Wednesday announced to set up a task force headed by senior IAS officer to monitor the treatment and the charges collected by corporate hospitals in the state.
Mr Rao, while replying during the short discussion on ''Covid-19( Impact of coronavirus) in the state and measures taken by the government in controlling it'' in the House, said the task force would release weekly action reports on the corporate hospitals to the leaders of main opposition parties in the state.
''There must be monitoring on corporate hospitals'', the CM said.
