Hyderabad, Oct 1 (UNI) Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao dismissed as 'baseless' the Congress members' charge in the state Assembly on Friday that the government was diverting panchayat funds.
Referring to the Congress members' allegation during a discussion in the house, Mr Rao said that it was not correct to make false accusations on the floor of the House.
He said that the government had made the Telangana sarpanches proud in the country by transforming the villages and added that the state villages had received many awards from the Centre for their development.
